A Record Breaking Season
NVHS had their first winning season at the Varsity level, set a new win total and
recorded the fewest losses ever, 15 - 3 - 4, In addition the team did well in
the Best of the West Tournament beating two time State Champion Benet 3 - 1, Tieing
Naperville North 2 - 2 only to lose to Lincolnway 3 - 1. NVHS won the WVHS Soccer
Tournament, sharing the title with Downers Grove North. In the very strong Up State Eight
Conference, NVHS finished in a tie for second with Bartlett. Waubonsie Valley won the
title. The team also was ranked for the first time, as high as 8th in the Sun Times.
