2000 Team Records

Records Set
The varsity team set a new record for most wins in a season with nine victories.
This was all the more remarkable since the schedule was the toughest yet, playing 11 games
where the opponent was at some time ranked in the top ten during the season.
Highlights
were the 2 - 2 tie against number one ranked Benet, Class A State Champions, and 1 - 0
wins over highly rated Downers Grove South and Batavia High Schools.
The team lost in overtime to Waubonsie, which won the conference and finished 3rd
in the state. Neuqua made the finals of the eight team Waubonsie Valley Tournament and
also finished with its best record ever in the Upstate Eight finishing 5th.
