1999 Team Records

The First
Senior Team
This was the first year that Neuqua Valley had seniors in the school. Nine seniors lead
the varsity squad to a 8 -12 - 3 over season record. The team finished with an Upstate Eight
record of 3 - 5 - 1.
One of the highlights of the season was a 1 - 0 win over Wheaton Academy. Neuqua was one of only two teams that beat Wheaton Academy this year. Another highlight
was a 2 - 2 tie against soccer power St Charles East.
The team was lead by captains Keith Galvin, Neil Hiner and Ryan Nurse.
The JV team finished the season with a 7 - 3 - 2 record and an Upstate Eight
record of 4 - 2 - 1.
The sophomore team finished the season with 9 - 7 - 2
record and an Upstate Eight record of 5 - 2 - 2.
The freshman overall record
was 6 - 6 - 7 and a 3 - 5 - 2 record in the Upstate Eight Conference.
