The First Neuqua Valley High School Varsity Soccer Team 1998 7 - 9 - 6  Overall, 3 - 5 - 1 Fifth in the Upstate Eight Conference

Soccer Team

First Varsity Team

On September 1 1998 the first ever Neuqua Valley Varsity soccer team kicked off the season with a forfeit over Glenbard East.

The next day the team played Elmwood Park and won 10 - 0. The team opened their season with a five game unbeaten streak and finished the season with a 7 - 9 - 6 record. The varsity finished fifth in the Upstate Eight Conference with a 3 - 5 - 1 record. The first senior class for Neuqua was still one year away, however we beat Lake Park and Batavia, schools with a strong soccer history. We also tied Morton, Hinsdale South and Wheaton North, schools with a long winning tradition in soccer.

The sophomore team finished with a very respectable 12 - 7 - 4 overall record and a 3 - 3 - 2 Upstate Eight Conference record.

The freshman team finished the season with 6 - 6 - 7 overall record and an Upstate Eight Conference record of 3 - 3 - 2.
